my karma
taking a toll on me
it all begins here in my illusions
it will all end here too
what began
what ends
what lived
what dies
a smile
a smile died yesterday
a smile that never will be
anymore ever again
it died and took along with it
all my smiles
all my giggles
all my joys
i weep my silent prayers
please heal, please heal
O dear heart, please heal
do not drag the dead alongside
do not i beg go looking for the grave
do not go to the dark corners of my mind
please O dear heart, heal
so i may stop crying
I think you are one of the few Indian women poets I have run into. Most are
male , Indian engineers! 😎
🙂
Are you an Indian engineer with a poet’s heart? 😎
i am a women
thats all
a little like you
a little like a stranger too
a little my buddha
a little like the monster
a little of a beggar
a little greedy
a little like a weed
definitely not an engineer though
🙂
thanks for musing about me though
What a lovely explanation of the universality of us all !
thank you,
may you have happiness
